I think today we thought it was more fun to just splash, play and use the marsh mud for face paint.  4H was all about plankton, and the marsh.  We learned that there are 2 different kind of plankton phytoplankton – plant life that are drifters and produce 75% of the world oxygen. How Unschoolers learn about science ecology

Surfen waves becoming surf sleuth investing the waves

Today we went to Burton 4h on Tybee Island and became surf sleuther’s. A surf sleuth is a person who investigates the surf to see what animals my be living in it. We did this by using a large net, 10-15 kids walking out in the water and scooping up what in the water.  The kids had a blast playing on the beach. 4H Science, Art

Friday we met up with the Savannah Home School group and went to Tybee for science.  The 4H gives a science lesson once a month for the kids.  This time we learned about reptiles (snakes, lizards, alligators).
