plankton expensive face mask or just fun

I think today we thought it was more fun to just splash, play and use the marsh mud for face paint.  4H was all about plankton, and the marsh.  We learned that there are 2 different kind of plankton phytoplankton – plant life that are drifters and produce 75% of the world oxygen. 4H Invertebrates

4H was about invertebrates and the different Phylum (The term phylum is one of seven major categories that are used to classify organisms) that each animal fits into….. Chordates/sponges/cnidarian/Arthropoda/mollusks The kids were given questions Invertebrates about each category that they had to put under each phylum, they were then given pictures and we had to guess which phylum they went under. Surfen waves becoming surf sleuth investing the waves

Today we went to Burton 4h on Tybee Island and became surf sleuther’s. A surf sleuth is a person who investigates the surf to see what animals my be living in it. We did this by using a large net, 10-15 kids walking out in the water and scooping up what in the water.  The kids had a blast playing on the beach.
