On the Road Again to live our nomadic life style

family feb 15We are so excited because the McIntyres are off again on a great adventure of a lifetime. The road has been calling our name for four months, and we are finally back in the RV to live our nomadic lifestyle. Rubber Ducky has found a job that will allow him to travel and work. We will miss all our friends and family that live in our hometown Savannah, GA, but we are so excited about being on the road ahead.

Rubber Ducky is going to be an RV Inspector and looking to subcontract with a company that has been in business for about one year.  More and more people are living this kind of lifestyle and are buying used RVs and new RVs that they would like checked out to make sure they are safe and in good working order.  He will not only be checking out RVs, but he will also have the opportunity to help deliver new RVs, do system checks on RVs to be financed by banks, and make sure that the RVs are safe after you have major repairs done.

learn to modThe girls will still be Unschooling or Roadschooling as we travel, and this time we hope to visit the remaining  50 states, and, yes, I am including Hawaii this time (I have very high goals), Canada, and maybe (if I get real crazy) Mexico. We love Unschooling and visiting museums, zoos, historical sites, science and technology museums, and state and national parks.  The girls read every day, do Khan Academy, and are taking a college course learning how to program (JAVA script) in Minecraft with Learn to Mod. They love playing all their educational games on their iPads and we also enjoy listening to audiobooks on moving days (our favorite is “How to Train a Dragon” by Cressida Cowell).

how kids make moneyI am now selling Jamberry Nail Wraps which I hope to make a little extra money doing.  My favorite part is making custom nail wraps for my customers.  We also sell alien copters which are these awesome toys that glow in the dark, have an LED light to light up the sky, and will go up in the air 200 feet and glide back down.  They would be a great fundraiser for schools, churches, or just to make some extra cash.  Email me at c.mcintyre@unschoolingparadise.com if you want more info.

To all our friends back home and around the US: We love getting mail, emails, texts, and face timing.  Please email me, and I will be more than happy to provide you with all the girl’s info for the special bonus, if you send me your mailing address we will send you postcards.
