Unschooling at Jacksonville Museum of Science and History

How we Unschooled at Jacksonville Museum of Science and History. Jacksonville has a really cool museum that has science and history in it. We learned about the body, blood cells, robotic arms, teeth, eyes, and even the heart. Next was a room all about whales, dolphins, and manatees. There were live animals like turtles, frogs, owls, fish, lizards, and possums.

On the second floor of the museum were Florida history, space, and a planetarium. The last floor had history and display on WWII. The girls really enjoyed it but got a little bored with the history stuff, we thought it needed to more interactive to keep the kids engaged. Overall we liked and glad we went but not sure if we will go back, but if I lived in Jacksonville I might go sometimes.

We give it 2 1/2 popcorn – drive a little long, lots of neat stuff, parking free, needed more kid interrelation.
