The 7th Ranch RV Park and Little Big Horn
The 7th Ranch RV park is a little slice of heaven and right next to Little Big Horn. This RV park and working Ranch was the most relaxing and scenic place we have visited. It is apparent that the owners care for the park and the animals on the ranch. We were at their soft opening which was fine with us because we had the whole park to ourselves.
The girls loved feeding the horses and looking at all the different decorated birdhouses that were around the park; one even had a mamma nesting. The owner allowed us to venture across the farmland, and go exploring over the hills. The girls enjoyed playing in the sandpit with toys and looking for the calves that were only a month old.
Custer Battle Field
The 7th Ranch RV park is on Crow reservation right off I-90 in Garryowen, Montana and was right next to the Custer Battle Field Museum. They, unfortunately, don’t allow pictures at the museum. However, we snuck a few pictures and visited the museum very briefly. Took more time learning even more about the battle of Little Big Horn and the Crow Indians.
After a nice visit to the museum, we took a drive the National historic site at Little Big Horn Battlefield, which happened to be five minutes away. We arrived right before closing time. So, we took a quick look in the museum and then had a fun chat with the Rangers. Laslty, we visited the Historical Monument for the Crow Indians to finish off our day.
